My new style of heart for 2012! Having visited Honiton Lace Museum this autumn I have been inspired to do some pieces based on this amazing old process (Honiton is about 14 miles away from my home) and I have started making patterns based on vintage 17th and 18th Century Lace designs.

Perfect wedding or Valentines Day gift!
Each of these hearts is made with recycled coloured glass and painted by hand with designs inspired by 17th and 18th Century Honiton Lace designs which are then put in the kiln to fire the paint onto the glass and then constructed using the copper foil technique.
Each is finished with small beads, silky thread and stands about 5 cm high.
Perfect for hanging on the tree or in a sunny window.
