I now have only one of these delightful birdies left. Made from an upcycled fab 50's cotton fabric in a swirly abstract rose print in shades of red and black with a glorious scarlet red felt breast . I have given each bird a series of floral flowers around their head. Each flower is handcut from red felt and I have added a tiny bead centre to each with a scattering of green foliage. I think they look extremely glamorous!

Each bird has legs made from re-purposed copper wire and are plumped with polyester toy filling. With their beady black eyes mounted on little circles of ivory coloured felt these little birds are full of character and as free-standing ornaments would make a charming addition to a festive shelf or mantlepiece and a wonderful unique little present that looks good all year round!
