'Hello Dolly' is a lovely framed picture which is part of my fab fifties craft/typography range ...Welcome to nowheresville!
People may look back at the 1950's as a decade dominated by words beginning with C... cars, consumerism, communists and conformists. But by golly, it was also an era where the letter T was far more exciting... the teenager emerged, technology brought us record players and television and of course there were tunes- aplenty in the form of rock and roll, doo-wop and jazz stars.
Beatnik: a member of the 'cool' beat generation in the 1950's who predated the 1960s hippy movement. Beatniks had their own style of language, fashion and hobbies including Art, jazz music and poetry.
The 6 x 6" picture is comprised of:
A gorgeous brightly coloured collage background layer full of cool 50's nostalgic words.
The words 'Beatnik' is printed in a 50's style font onto the paper in black ink.
The picture is finished off beautifully with a blue and white striped swing tag and 'Cool cat' bottle top embellishment.
The picture comes with a choice of either a painted white or black solid wood picture frame which is approximately 9 x 9" and a white 8 x 8" mount. The frame also has a further MDF backing and glass layer.

The paper and embellishments are sourced from Papermania's happy days and frames from Ornate swept frame store.
