Beeswax proofed leather drinking vessels have been traditional for hundreds of years, particularly beer mugs, as they were far more affordable for most people than glass or pewter. I wanted to build on this history to make a wider range of traditionally inspired drinking vessels

These whiskey tumblers make an interesting alternative to glass. Modelled on a classic cut glass whiskey tumbler, they are roughly 3.5" high and 2.5" diameter.
They are hand cut from undyed vegetable tanned leather, hand stitched with linen thread, before being waterproofed by dipping in molten beeswax. They are then leak tested with water for a couple of hours.
You drink straight from the leather vessel! Drinks taste so much better when mingled with the aroma of beeswax.
Please message me if you want more than are shown in stock. I may well have more available.
NOTE: These must only be used for cold drinks and must NOT be washed in hot water, especially in a dishwasher! They should be rinsed in cool or tepid water, without any detergents or abrasives.
Delivery: Royal Mail 2nd class signed for.
