I hate to see well made often cherished items items thrown out.
I love to give them a new life and purpose and a chance to be admired again.

Full description

This camera, a No 2A Folding Autographic Brownie, was probably made sometime between 1918 and 1922. It was made by Canadian Kodak Co. Ltd in Toronto, Canada and in Rochester, NY, USA by Eastman Kodak Company.

This camera was bought recently from a local auction.

Although it had been used it is was in very good condition. Although it may never be used a camera again I retained the lens which I will supply with it so if it does become a valuable antique it can be rebuilt.

The front leg is often missing on these cameras but is attached on this one.

The camera has a real nostalgic charm and I would love know where it went snapping.

These early cameras are far more advanced than many cameras made decades later! You had to focus them, set the apperture and then the shutter speed; a far cry from the point and shoot cameras that came later.

This camera clock makes a fascinating talking point is an ideal gift for photographers or anyone interested in the past.

The clock movement is silent and the second had sweeps round without any jerking, it comes complete with battery and 12 month guarantee.

Dimensions 8 x 4 x 6.5 ins

The camera comes with a box and instruction booklet with clear diagrams showing how to insert the battery.

As its getting near Christmas I can offer next day Special Delivery (Saturdays excluded) for UK Mainland if you order (and pay) by 1pm.

Overseas orders can be expedited to Royal Mail Airsure for £6.00 extra.
