Fat balls are very popular with the blue tits in my garden but they don't look great. This plaited pyramid acts as a cover for the food and also provides 4 perches for the birds to use while feeding.

Full description
This is a fat ball holder to hang in the garden to help wild birds through the winter. It makes a great present for all ages.
It's made by plaiting rods of natural willow to make a spiraling pyramid. The fat ball hangs underneath and four sticks provide perches for little birds.
String and fatball are included but my lovely fake bird isn't!
The fatball can easily be replaced. Just cut the string close to the remains of the old fat ball and tie a new one in it's place.
The willow pyramid is made from natural materials which have a limited life left outside. It will become brittle and fragile after one or two seasons in the garden.
