Full description
Give your home a touch of art deco style with this wonderful trinket box. Hand made from gorgeous premium grade Argentinian Lignum Vitae (also known as Vera) and African Blackwood from a sustainable source.
The lid is a superb fit and has remained so since the box was made. This trinket box is made from well seasoned wood and is totally safe in a centrally heated environment.
To ensure a good fit of the when making these, the box body and lid are 'roughed out', then left to dry for about six months before the final turning and finishing takes place. This allows the timber to 'rest' and reduces the likelihood of movement after the piece has been completed.
Height is approximately 10cm and the width about 5cm. (Approx. 4 x 2 inches)
Finished with a hard wearing tung nut based oil finish.
