Full description
The fabric I have used for this journal is a collection of 100% cotton fabrics called the “Ladies Stitching Club”. I have interfaced the fabric and also included batting before lightly quilting the fabric. I hand stitched the seven signatures together using blue hemp twine and included two strands of light blue satin ribbon. The spine has been left exposed because I think it is a nice feature to this handmade journal. There are irregularities with this handmade journal, the cutting and folding of the paper is not perfectly flush.
This journal would make an ideal Christmas or Birthday gift. It is lovely to look at, but is also very useful and practical. It can be used as a large notebook, or sketchbook, or whatever use would be most appropriate.
Measurements: Journal is A5 size, 15.5cm (6ins) wide x 22cm (8.75ins) long. All sizes are approximate.
