Snowflakes and lace seem to have a lot in common to me, and as my thoughts turn to the winter ahead, I wanted to explore the beauty of these tiny ephemeral treasures. This piece reflects the intricate delicacy and patterned structures formed by these ice crystals... Time to be an ice princess?

Full description
A single snowflake has come to rest on the pebbles and sea glass of the frozen beach. A band of sea-foam has captured it. Don't worry though- the snowflake won't melt as it's made from sterling silver, and the band is hand made bobbin lace made from cotton and fine silver with a little sterling silver hook that will allow the snowflake to cling to your wrist.
The snowflake is bigger than the ones that usually fall round here being 2.5 cm across. The hammered surface is polished, whilst the back of the snowflake has a matt finish.
The handmade lace band is 0.7mm across and 17.5cm long including the hook and eye catch and the whole bracelet only weighs 4.74g.
The band and snowflake will come to you in a gift box of recycled materials.
