Full description
This handmade notebook was made using maroon embroidered silk dupion. The beautiful embroidered design on the silk makes this a very unique handmade notebook.
I hand stitched the seven signatures together using natural hemp twine. The spine has been left exposed because I think it is a nice feature. There are irregularities with this handmade notebook i.e. the cutting and folding of the paper is not perfectly flush.
This notebook would make an ideal Christmas or Birthday gift for someone special. It is lovely to look at, but is also very useful and practical.
Measurements:
Notebook is A6 size, 11cm (4.5ins) wide x 15cm (6ins) long with 140gsm 100% recycled white paper, 60 pages. All sizes approximate.
