These little maple leaf earrings have been handmade from silver clay which is the purest form of silver (99.99%), It is environmentally friendly as the silver used has been recycled from the waste of the silver industry.

I made the silver leaves by imprinting the veins of a real maple leaf into silver clay, I then fired them in my kiln and blackened the silver using a patina and polished the raised surfaces so that the beautiful pattern of the veins stand out against the highly polished silver. Finally I popped them in a tumbler for a few hours to strengthen the silver and to get a really shiny finish.

Each leaf is 1.6cm long and 1.4cm across, they hang from handmade sterling silver ear wires and are sold in a recycled cardboard jewellery box.

The last photo's are the matching pendant and the larger version of these earrings with swarovski crystals I have for sale in my Folksy Shop.

The earrings pictured above are a sample, all pieces are individually handcrafted and as such may differ very slightly from that pictured.

I post my parcels within one working day and use royal mail 1st class within the UK which should take 1-2 days, and standard parcels for worldwide deliveries, which can take 5-7 working days.
