I made these sycamore leaf earrings from silver clay which is the purest form of silver (99.99%), It is environmentally friendly as the silver used has been recycled from the waste of the silver industry.

I hand shaped the earrings from silver clay, using a real sycamore leaf to imprint the vein pattern, I kiln fired them and added a patina which gives the silver a dark, aged look, I then polished the earrings by hand to make the dark veins of the leaf stand out against the highly polished silver. Finally I attached tiny 4mm bicone swarovski crystal beads to the front to add a bit of colour, before popping them into my tumbler for a few hours to add strength, durability and a give them a beautiful high shine.

The leaves hang from handmade sterling silver ear wires and are sold in a cute little recycled cardboard jewellery box.

They are available either with a pink Swarovski crystal or a blue one, the leaf sizes differ slightly for each colour, please let me know after checkout which colour you would like.

Pink: each leaf is 1.8cm tall and 1.9cm wide.

Blue: each leaf is 2cm tall and 2.3 cm wide.

The last picture is the matching pendant which is available in my Folksy shop.
