A friend wanted a cosy for her mug that was a bit different . As one of our favourite bands plays punk covers it wasn't hard to come up with a punk jumper. From that inspiration I decided to make it more '1977' by adding ladders. While knitting up I remembered that I had a whole box of miniature safety pins that were just crying out for a decent project & then my little punk jumper was complete!

Here's a one for all you old punks & wannabe punks!.
This is a mug cosy, hand knit in pink & black stripes with deliberate dropped stitches (they can't run any further). Of course no punk outfit would be complete without safety pins & this item has 2 of them in miniature.
If punk is a tad scary for you then I also have a girly version with a pink heart listed separately.
