My Correspondence design is based on original vintage handwritten postcards from 1909 – 1946. A glimpse into another world, were short personal messages travelled far and wide to reach their audience. I love how beautiful handwriting used to be and love trying to read the fragments of messages and give them a story

Linen fold-over clutch handbag, hand screen-printed with my ‘Correspondence’ design.
All my bags are hand screen printed with environmentally friendly water based ink onto a strong natural linen fabric. Every bag is sewn by hand and fully lined with internal pockets in contrasting coloured cotton.
This range of bags, have a strong, canvas base, making them very durable and practical. The straps are upcycled out of leather from a beautiful old sofa, stripped by a local upholsterer, they are soft and supple and add a unique beauty to each bag.
Measurements
Size of the bag – approx 11” wide, 12” tall, fold over height 710” zip opening at top and a 6” leather strap handle.
Care of this bag – spot clean linen top or dry clean only, Linen section can be ironed to remove creases but avoid heat to canvas base and leather handle strap .
Due to the nature of hand printing please be aware that the placement of the print may vary in each item.
