This is a handmade wire bound notebook made from a recycled old Lake District touring map from the 1950s. The cover was made from glossy paper, so the vibrant colours haven't faded at all! The front cover of the notebook is the colourful map frontage, with pictures of a number of Lake District villages, lakes and tourist spots.

I only ever use unwanted materials which are damaged, incomplete, oudated or are being thrown out with the rubbish! Please note that these notebook covers may have marks, blemishes or other superficial damage, that’s part of their charm. If they were in perfect condition, they wouldn’t be upcycled! The notebook in the picture is the exact one you will receive however, so you should be able to see the condition very well.

Note - if you are after a Cluedo notebook, there are several different versions which all look a bit different so check out all the different ones in my shop.
The notebook contains at least 100 pages (50 sheets) of high quality thick cream paper bound by an antique bronze effect wire binding.

All my notebooks are handmade by me in the UK. I use proper wire bindings and high quality paper.

The Lake District is on my doorstep, only a few minutes drive away and I particularly love this notebook for the bright, nostalgic pictures on the front cover. It really harks back to the glory days of British holidays in the countryside.
