Full description
The fabric I have used to make this purse is by designer Robert Kaufman and it is called “Vintage Couturier”. On the fabric are sewing machines, dummies, and tape measures, and the titles in French. On the front of the purse I have added some white lace and five vintage blue buttons. It has a cream zip closure with a self fabric zip pull. Inside the purse the lining is a heavy weight calico fabric.
This purse would be ideal for holding all those sewing essentials that often disappear, just at the moment you require them! For example, tape measure, scissors, needles, threads, spare bobbins, seam ripper, etc. However, I am sure you will find it useful for whatever items you wish to keep safe.
Please note the items in the photo are not included with the purchase.
I think it is a very pretty fabric and I was attracted to the fabric because of the vintage inspired design. The purse has been handcrafted to a high standard and is a unique item.
