The stones supplied are graded as A-B grade "semi precious" gemstones in their "natural form", having been factory cleaned, drilled, *faceted and lightly polished.

A - B grade semi precious gemstones are readily available and cheaper to purchase compared to AAA/AAA+ grade gemstones due to the fact that they have not been graded to a "carat weight" necessary for wide scale commercial stone setting, which would then go on to be used alongside precious metals such as gold & platinum to create various jewellery pieces.
Many people assume that gemstones such as emeralds, sapphires & rubies are super expensive to buy, which isnt the case...the many semi precious chips & stones available are mostly offcuts & surplus pieces of the larger (carat graded stone) shaped & cut into beads or ornaments and offered as "semi precious" and not "precious" gemstones as found and sold in jewellery peices in mainstream/independent jewellery shops/outlets.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Additional terms
We are happy to accept return on items for a full refund/replacement of the the item price within 7 days of purchase. The buyer accepts the financial responsibility of returning the item(s) and understands that if/when a refund is issued, only the original purchase price of the item(s) will be refunded. Overseas customers will receive a refund of their postage costs limited to the amount which was paid at the time of placing the order. When returning items to us you are advised to use a trackable method of postage ie; Recorded delivery etc so that if the item goes astray it will be easier to locate within the Royal Mail Postal System. In the first instance please email us about any orders which you wish to return/receive a refund for, where we will be happy to assist you as necessary/where possible. Unless otherwise indicated all refunds are credited back to your Paypal Account or the same payment method which you used to buy your item(s) with.

The ruby is a pink to blood red coloured gemstone, the red colour is caused mainly by the presence of the chemical element chromium which occurs at source.
The ruby gemstone is considered one of the four precious stones together with sapphire, emerald and diamond.
Improving the quality/appearance and carat weight of gemstones by heat treatment and other methods is common practice in this modern age, and the ruby is no exception to this, naturally occurring ruby normally has a dark semi opaque colour/appearance of deep/blood red through to a pale pink, the more translucent a ruby is in appearance, it should be assumed that this is because it has undergone a high level of gemology based treatments to achieve its final appearance.
Natural ruby beads are perfect for costume & fashion jewellery as they have a high resilience to knocks and bumps whilst their rich and intense shadings matches well with most other colours.
