Full description

This is a PDF PATTERN, not the finished item. The pattern will be emailed to you within 24 hours of payment.

This beautiful baby blanket is knit in an easy basket weave pattern called entrelac. The blanket is knit in one piece so there is no fiddly sewing together of little patches.

Entrelac is very simple to do and looks so impressive!

The pattern is easy to follow with photos to guide you at every stage.

You are only ever working on 10 stitches at one time, so it never gets too monotonous or feels too daunting - great to knit whilst watching the TV!

You only need to know how to knit and purl, increase and decrease.

The blanket is knit using four colours, but you could also use just two, or even one, if you wish.

The finished blanket measures approximately 32x32" (81x81cms), but can easily be adapted to any size you wish. (I explain how in the pattern)

The pattern includes yarn suggestions, clear instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you.

The yarn used is double knit, but yarn weight and tension are not crucial to the pattern.

You will need a total of 500grams of yarn, 100g of each colour and 100g for the border
