Everyone loves tobacco tins - not for keeping tobacco in these days, of course, but for anything from pins to plectrums. I bought one from America made from a mint tin and I thought "this would look great in a vintage tobacoo tin" ... and I started experimenting with different types of vintage and modern tin, components and making techniques. I've become a 'Little Mester' which is what we call the makers of traditional Sheffield silverware, cutlery and scissors. I love 're-purposing' classic retro designs and making them a cool music accessory.

Remember 78's? ... played on an old wind-up gramophone? Chances are you remember the HMV dog as well. So here's my homage to that vintage music making machine ... an mp3 amp and speaker in an HMV 2oz stash tin ... c/w on/off switch, audio input and 3.5mmm jack to jack cable. Sounds really clear (not 'ruff') and fits just about any pocket. (requires PP3 9v battery - 1 x supplied). (please be patient - since Nipper the Dog featured in Tatler it takes time to re-stock and make this nippy Tinamps - if its a present let us know the date you need it by)
