Full description
The first print of a limited edition of 10. This image is inspired by my story about a Peacock who likes to sleep at night cradled in the crest of the moon. It is part of a sequence of story telling prints that I am currently developing. This hand coloured lino print was created using black oil based ink and individually coloured using Polychromo pencils which are light fast, non-smearing and vibrant. Printed on cartridge the print image measures 20cm by 30cm (8" x 12") with a white border for ease of framing.
As with all original prints that are not produced digitally each image varies slightly in tone and ink applied giving the image its unique handmade quality. The photos can't quite capture the metalic quality of the gold and silver but when light is shining on the image it almost shines!
This print is also available without colour added. Please contact me for more information if needed.
