For something a little different here's a beautiful curly toed christmas stocking in traditional red and gold.A selection of luxurious fabrics have been patchworked together with handstitched braids and trims to give a victorian/vintage feel. The stocking has been stuffed to halfway up the leg and is lined at the top with an internal pocket to hold a gift. The reverse is one fabric.
The stocking measures 47cm from top to heel, 59 cm from top to furtherest point. Width at the top is 17 cm, 29cm at the widest point.
A small brass ring stitched to the inside top can be caught over a hook for hanging or a nice ribbon can be threaded through the ring to hang from a fireplace/bedpost/stairpost.
The detail/finish and quality of materials is stunning.
