I hate to see anything thrown out. This camera was about to go unsold at a local sale. Hopefully, I've given it a new purpose and it will be used again.

Full description
I came across this camera in a local sale it was manufactured in England between 1959 & 1965.
Rather than let it go unsold I decided to repurpose it with the addition of a modern quartz clock movement.
I installed the clock unit behind the flash unit and as far as I'm aware this camera is in working condition.
The Kodak Brownie 44A and 44B are viewfinder cameras made in the UK by Kodak Ltd. They are designed for twelve square
15/8x15/8inch (4x4cm) images on 127 film.
The 44A has a fixed-focus lens with two apertures and a single-speed shutter.
The body is mostly plastic, but with an alloy back plate and chromed end plates. The 44A features a plastic ever-ready case, which fits on to lugs (one of which is slightly damaged) in the base and folds over the front to clip over top plate.
With 127 Film the camera will take 12 square 4 cm images. It measures 9x7x3 "
I can also supply the original cover (not shown) the inside of which is labelled Tony Robinson, Manor Park School, Nuneaton.
The camera comes suitable boxed with a battery and a 12 month guarantee for the clock movement.
The clock second hand moves with a smooth not jerking movement.
The original strap is also attached enabling the camera to be hung as a wall clock.
