Inspired by Christmas Stockings from bygone days I made these traditional looking stockings ideally to be filled with hand-made gifts and chocolate coins, presents we remember from our childhood.
They would look lovely filled with vintage themed gifts, with the toes stuffed full with walnuts and small oranges

Full description
Made from a vintage blue wool blanket, this medium sized stocking has been hand embroidered with snowflakes using tapestry wool. Embroidery is on one side of stocking only.
It is fully lined with bright pink and blue polka dot fabric, and has a hand sewn cream pom-pom trim all around the top edge of the stocking.
There is also a pink tag at the top of the stocking so it can hang from a small hook while waiting to be filled.
Snowflakes are embroidered in bright pink,apple green and teal vintage tapestry yarn.
Stocking measures approximately 7 inches across the top, and 18 inches from top to heel.
Ideal for filling with small toys, oranges, chocolate coins and peppermint sticks.
