I love repurposing and recycling and when I had saved a few of these pots up without really knowing what to do with them, I finally realised this would be a great use for them as everyone needs a place to keep their pins tidied away!

these cute little pin pots are a really useful addition to any crafter's collection.
recycled from an empty moisturiser pot, it has a screw-top lid which I have made into a pin cushion using rescued fabrics and trimmed up with vintage braid, ribbon and buttons.
it is made from an old tartan skirt with black ribbon and red braid and a lovely big old grey button.
keep your pins nice and tidy inside when you're not using them and then you have the pin cushion for use whilst you're working.
this pin pot comes with plain dressmaker's pins included as pictured but you can of course add your own favourite pins to these as there's plenty more room in the pot.
ideal for a gift for someone else or a treat for yourself, this is a must-have for any crafter!
