The design of this case is influenced by the ubiquitous envelope, but I wasn't conscious of that when it came out. Subliminal suggestion I guess! Lots of people liked this design I first showed it, which surprised me because it is simpler than most of my cases. I think it’s that simplicity and balance that make it attractive. I like mixing leathers to see the effect. This design is perfect for allowing the leathers to show their own beauty through contrast with each other.

Pinegrove promises to adhere to the standard Folksy returns policy: If you are not 100% satisfied with your case then return it within 14 days in its original packaging for a full refund including the return postage costs or a replacement. Otherwise we expect it to last a long long time! Faulty items should be returned within six months of payment being made, but please note that leather is an organic material and has the naturally occurring marks of any genuine animal skin: this is part of its natural beauty. Where hair-on cowhide is part of the design, we have carefully chosen the pattern that will appear on every piece, and provide customers with options in terms of the balance of brown, white etc.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This leather envelope-style pouch is for the basic Kindle (4th (2011) & 5th (2012) generations), and the Kobo Touch. We can also make you a case in this style for the Kindle Fire, Paperwhite or Touch or the Kobo Arc. Just add a message to your order.
We've chosen two leathers that contrast in texture for this piece. The back and flap is made of a smooth waxy Nubuck, while the front has a rough crumbled texture. Both leathers have soft suede texture inside for your kindle. They blend together well, and are enhanced by the cowhide flap reinforcer which can be fitted with red-tan leather or hair-on cowhide. (you can see the red-tan leather on the tan case in last picture.) Note that the hair-on cowhide makes every piece unique!
