Upcycled Lamp has an original vintage 1960s/70s blue glass base originating from Ikea. I recovered the lampshade with a beautiful 1970s vintage linen fabric depicting a pattern of blue and purple flowers. I saw this fabric and thought it would make a beautiful lampshade for this blue glass base. I added dark blue cotton tape to the edges of the lampshade for a nice finish.
This lamp would make a perfect addition to a modern vintage home.
Dimensions: Lamp height: 38cm (15"). Shade diameter: 30.5cm (12").
The lamp is certified as having passed electrical safety test. It was made in Britain and is wired according to British standards, including British plug and bulb fitting.
Due to the usage of vintage materials, there are slight cracks in the surface of the lampshade (inside) but they are not visible on the outside.
