embroidered peace dove gadget case.
this appliqued and free motion embroidered gadget case is suitable for most smart phones, cameras, ipods etc, but would be equally useful as a little purse to store the bits and bobs that get lost in the bottom of your handbag.
based on an original drawing by Little Black Heart, it is entirely handmade by me on a domestic sewing machine.
it features a pretty appliqued and embroidered peace dove in a floral printed riley blake fabric. the bird has a bright red heart on its chest and the wing and tail feather details are in a pink linen. tiny leaves decorate the branches.
the cotton fabrics are layered and appliqued onto pre-washed calico, and the intricate details drawn on with free machine embroidery (free motion embroidery), before i make up the finished item.
the gadget case itself is made from pre-washed heavy weight calico. the front is stiffened with vilene, it’s lined with red cotton, and has a zip closure.
it measures approximately 10cm wide x 14cm tall (4 inches x 5.5 inches).
everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
i aim to post items out within 24 hours of payment, via first class mail. if ordering more than one item, any excess shipping charges will be refunded through paypal.
