I have always loved Harris Tweed and after a visit to the Outer Hebrides last summer, I sourced some beautiful pieces to bring home and use in my work. Tweed and felt work so well together and the vibrant colours are sure to brighted up any lapel, hat or bag.

Full description
Bird brooch made with genuine Harris Tweed and sumptuous felt made using hand dyed merino fibre and hand dyed silk. Beautiful shades of purple are mixed with a little cerise pink making this a really eye catching piece.
I bought this particular tweed from the weaver's shed next to his cottage on the Isle of Lewis last summer. It is just so beautiful!
Iridescent beads add a little detail and a sturdy brooch bar is hand stitched on the back.
Brooch measures 8cm long and 5cm wide.
Comes on an Aileen Clarke Crafts display card with cellophane sleeve for protection.
Handmade in Scotland.
