Full description
A Wedding Guest Book, in a beautiful design of Peacock Feathers, by Liberty of London. Wonderful for a Peacock themed or traditional styled wedding - a beautiful book that will be a pleasure to use!
Also good as a guestbook for an engagement, anniversary or other celebration.
The book has covers of "Isis" Tana Lawn fabric, by Liberty. Liberty Tana Lawn is a 100% cotton fabric, with a fine texture and cool, smooth finish.
I have hand-lined the fabric with a fine handmade paper, to strengthen it and prevent stretching.
The edges of the covers are embellished in a matching soft blue Silk dupioni.
A hand-made tassel embellishment is made from the same blue silk, wrapped with a toning silk thread in darker blue.
The covers are lined with wedgewood blue art paper, which tones well with the covering materials.
The book has a Coptic binding, with seven rows of deep blue waxed linen thread, with a decorative pattern on the book covers. The book opens flat throughout.
There is a silk-mounted label on the front cover, which can be custom printed with wording of your choice, or left blank for you to write yourself. If you prefer a rectangular or bracket shaped label, I can alter it for you - please leave me a message with your request.
There are 32 plain white pages (64 sides) of medium weight white paper, with hand-cut edges.
The outside measurements are approx 8.25" x 6" (21cm x 15cm - approx A5 size) and the pages measure 8" x 5.75" (20cm x 14.5cm).
