I bought some peacock feathers inspired by the blue and green vibrant colours. I spent some time photographing these feathers in day light until I had the perfect close up image of vibrant blues and greens. I then manipulated the photograph in photoshop creating a motif, placing the repeat pattern into tiles of beautiful peacock feathers paneled together.
I then found a great factory (online) it was near Delhi in india! My design could be printed digitally onto silk.
I went to the factory in India and was shown around by one of the directors and the head of graphic design. I was proudly introduced to their digital printer which had come from Europe and was of the best standards. I then was shown the factory floor, design team and show room.
I was impressed and very excited as I waited for my own design to be printed and delivered.
When it arrived I was extremely pleased with the results! As you can see in the photograph I have taken for Folksy!

Full description
This beautiful design of a peacock feather, is repeated to create a vibrant colourful silk scarf. The design has been digitally photographed and printed on to 100% pure silk of the finest quality to give it detail and colour density. The scarf is 2 meters by 0.5 of a meter so it gives you plenty of luscious silk to wrap yourself in. Pure silk is known for its warmth and can be worn in summer or winter so you can look elegant any time of the year!
