Shipping Unless you specifically ask for tracking in advance I do not always offer it...especially on lower priced items as sometimes it costs more than the shipping it's self. On orders over £35 the tracking is on me. All items packed with love (and lots of bubble wrap) to ensure a safe delivery. All items will be posted 3-5 days from the day of purchase. Metal foliage nest with a micro fine bone china bowl
Handmade stoneware fine bone china micro bowl, very thin and translucent.
Stoneware white fine bone china micro bowl with upcycled acid etched metal foliage nest in silver colour.
The ceramic vessel is 5.5cm in diameter and 2cm high approximately.
As each item is handmade each finish is slightly different.
Stoneware and non porous.
Can be used as a decorative piece as decorative art or by placing something small such at pot pourri in it.

Bone China is porcelaneous body that contains calcium carbonate. This gives the ware strength and whitens it. One difference between porcelain and bone china is the whiteness of bone china.True bone china is almost snow-white. Another is the translucence of bone china: holding it to a light with your hand behind the china should reveal the shadow of your hand. Porcelain will not do so. Bone china was invented in England in the late eighteenth century, and was apparently superior in strength, translucency, thinness, and whiteness to the porcelain then being produced in Europe.If you compare bone china with all other types of porcelain you will notice the difference immediately. The body of most porcelain has an off-white greyish cast, except for some American china which is ivory colored.
