Full description
The fuchsia is one of my favourite flowers, but it's not easy to spell. Fushcia fuschia fuchsia ?
This was one of the very first patterns I created "all by myself". It's knitted in two sections, a dark purple underskirt covered by bright pink petals. For the stamen, I've threaded tiny beads onto 4 headpins and stitched them to swing freely.
As you can see from the photos with my hand in shot, it's not dainty - it's a real statement piece!
I've stitched a jump ring to the top, but now it's over to you to decide - you could hang it on a choker, on a cord, a chain, or maybe wear it as a pin?
