Full description
Both the lines and the colour produce the movement, and although the obvious description is, water, the sea, waves; while I was cutting this, it was really all about feeling calm and mellow and the whole thing being very soothing. View it however you choose.
The lino cut is printed in a blend of inks in blues and greens, and is hand printed onto pastel paper. The image measures 12 x 28 cm.
It is signed, and every print will be slightly different.
I print all my lino cuts on my kitchen table using a couple of rollers a few paintbrushes and an old glass chopping board, and have to clean it all up and clear it all away when the kids come home so that they have space to sit and do their homework, underneath a web of strings where my prints are hung up to dry.
