I wanted to make something with a strong colour, with an opulent, retro feel. The teal silk and the iridescent button suit each other very well.

Full description
I crocheted this corsage/brooch in a gorgeous pure silk yarn. The colour is a deep, rich teal, and it is set off by an iridescent Czech glass button, hand pressed and finished. The colour of the button is very difficult to capture, as it changes from blue-green to violet as it catches the light. The effect is very beautiful.
The corsage is backed with pure wool felt in a contrasting color, to give it stability, and hand stitched securely to a silver-plated brooch fitting.
Dimensions: 8cm (approx. 3 inches) across
This item will be wrapped in recycled, acid and bleed free tissue paper and a reusable gift box ( also made from recycled card).
I send all items by Royal Mail First Class, unless requested otherwise. I am able to send items by Recorded or Special Delivery at an additional cost by request. Please contact me if you would like this option (subject to Royal Mail conditions).
