I don't think hippos are really an Indian animal, but these colours remind me so much of Indian saris. Lily is one of the lesser known Indian Hippoos.

Lily is hand-crocheted in Rowan's Lenpur Linen in shades of lime and teal, with matching eyes and tail. She wears a pale green flower behind her ear.
Lily's stuffing complies with British Fire Safety Regulations.
Measurements - Lily is 27cm from nose to tail and 17cm tall.
