I thought it would be fun to see how these shades worked in a design which I usually work in more neutral or conventional 'baby' colours.

A hand knitted buggy blanket in some of my favourite shades - lime green, fuchsia pink, turquoise and french navy with a dark navy border.
Perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea but wonderfully cheering on dark, wintry days!
Knit in my favourite cashmere blend yarn (55% Merino Wool 33% Microfibre 12% Cashmere) - very soft and machine washable too.
It is 54cm (across) by 61cm and would make a light but cosy layer for babies on the move – handy for buggies or car-seats.
I’ve made quite a few of these for over the last few years (all of them different) and they’ve gone on to be passed between siblings and cousins or to be a toddler’s comfort ‘blankie’.
I will include a ball band with washing and care instructions.
