I made my first one of these a few years ago when a very special boy needed a hat which the wind couldn't huff and puff and blow away! I've made quite a few since then!

Full description
A cosy baby hat hand knit in soft and snuggly cashmere/merino blend yarn (55% Merino Wool 33% Microfibre 12% Cashmere ) in silver grey with turquoise scooter buttons.
The strap will make sure that it stays put, the two (plastic) buttons mean there is more scope for growth and the pom-pom is handmade too!
The yarn is machine washable but I’d recommend a gentle cycle because of the pom pom. I will provide a ball band with washing and care instructions.
To fit age 6-12 months (head circumference of about 45cm) but it does depend on the baby – they vary enormously!
The pom-pom is about 7cm in diameter.
I’ve reduced the price on this because I made a mistake and made the buttonholes on the ‘wrong’ side.
So this fastens on the ‘girl’ side rather than the ‘boy’ side – not that you’d really notice when it’s fastened.
If you care about such things then this isn’t for you but, if you don’t, then it’s your chance to get a good deal!
