Full description

These handspun yarns are blended with wool and alpaca to create a soft and silky yarn that is lovely to knit. The yarn is hand dyed using eco-friendly dyes. All the yarns are handspun using locally sourced British wools. This yarn is a single thick/thin ply and has been hand spun using a woollen spinning technique to produce a light and fluffy yarn with texture.

SPECIAL CLEARANCE:

There is one skein of this yarn left - when it's gone, it's gone

30% Alpaca / 70% Corriedale wool

50 gram skein

approx 90 yards

Sample has been hand knit using 6 mm knitting needles.

Yarns are locally sourced from alpaca that graze in the downs of West Sussex. Because the fleece has been cleaned, washed, dyed and carded by hand, there may be some odd woody bits still in the yarn. These will naturally fall out with use. To care for this yarn, please hand wash in cold water using a gentle soap.
