Full description
A beautiful handmade cosmetic bag (large) made in stunning 100% teal silk and Echino by Etsuko Furuya fabric appliqued onto 100% linen.
Firstly, I sketched my design, then handcut 100% teal silk for the peacock body, and have used tiny pieces of Echino by Etsuko Furuya fabric to create the peacock fan, which I then appliqued and freehand machine embroidered onto 100% linen in pale blue. The purse is lined with 100% linen in fuchsia.
The purse fastens with a teal zip and I have embellished the purse with buttons.
Approximate measurements: 27 cm wide by 21 cm height. 9 cm depth at bottom.
