Full description
This Vintage wooden Spirit Level was originally made by John Rabone & Sons of Birmingham. Following many years of service has been given a new lease of life and turned into a unique coat rail.
The Spirit Level had seen better days, it has had a complete renovation starting by stripping it down and cleaning it. The brass and metal plates have been buffed to a shine. The wood was then lightly sanded and finished with a quality wax. It was reassembled and new brass screws have been added to the metal end plates.
Recycled coat hooks with a worn copper finish have been fixed to the spirit level (2 x single hooks and 2 x double hooks), and a reclaimed copper hand stamped “Reclaimed Time” label has been added to the top of the rail.
This would make a lovely addition to your home, shed, workshop or an ideal gift.
The Spirit Level has been pre-drilled ready to fix to your wall (screws are supplied however you will need to source your own wall fixings as they will be dependent on the type of walls in your property).
With the in-built Spirit Level there are no excuses for putting this up "On The Huh" as we say in Norfolk (One the Huh meaning not straight or level).
