Full description

This journal or notebook has been made using natural linen as its base. After interfacing the linen, I gathered together a selection of different fabrics and arranged them on the linen. My central focus was the image of the Japanese geisha which I had printed on evolon. When I was happy with the collage I stitched all round the elements using a running stitch and zigzag stitch. I also added some beautiful lace and some cream crochet trim.

Finally, I bound the collaged cover to a hardback book adding end papers to the back and front.

This journal has been handmade to a high standard. It is a book to treasure for years to come and is also very practical. It would make an excellent Christmas or Birthday gift.

Measurements: The book is A5 portrait 15.5cm (6ins) wide X 22cm (9.50ins) long with 80 sheets of ruled paper. All sizes are approximate.

Postage: FREE UK P&P

I aim to post out next working day after payment by first class mail (Mon-Fri).
