This yarn is so soft and light and warm, it's perfect for a scarf! The granny stitch is very traditional, but the fineness of the yarn gives it a modern twist.

Full description
A light-as-thistledown scarf, crocheted in Rowan Fine Lace and Posh Yarn Sylvia yarns. The Rowan yarn is softly fluffy and the Posh Yarn has a lovely silky sheen to it, tying the toning shades of dusky purple together. The main body of the scarf is worked in the darker shade, and the lighter colour forms stripes at the side and a scalloped edge to the whole scarf.
The shape of the scarf is reminiscent of a shawl, in a long triangle. It can be wrapped twice around your neck, with the point at the throat, giving you a light, warm neck covering, perfect for these cooler days. It can be worn with the point at the side and the ends draped forwards and backwards across the shoulders to show off the sheeny stripes. It could be simply draped around the neck with the point at the back and both ends forward - the ends aren't so long that they'd get in the way.
Measurements - 138cm long, 38cm from point to centre, narrowing to 5cm at each end.
Materials - Rowan Fine Lace - 80% baby alpaca, 20% merino wool.
Posh Yarn Sylvia - 50% merino wool, 50% silk
