These felted soaps are inspired by jewels. The colour and irridesance of the wool and silk brings rubies and emeralds to mind. When grouped together they are especially impressive.

'Washcloth and Soap All-in-One'.
These high quality bath size (150g) soaps are hand felted using British wool (either Shetland or Bluefaced Leister) and silk and are incrediably kind to the skin. The felt will continue to shrink with the soap and ensures no soap is wasted, even those last slippery bits. When the soap is all finished you are left with a small felt pocket from which all sorts of new craft projects could start.
To use simply wet and work the lather through the felt and wash to your heart's content. Rinse and leave to drain after use. Instructions for use are included on a small card.
These Wool Fat Soaps were first produced in the early 1930's by Fred Mitchell who realised that the natural lanolin content of wool fat, which kept the hands of local sheep shearers and wool sorters so exceptionally soft, could also be beneficial to delicate complexions and sensitive skins. Still made in Bradford these soaps remain a simple and natural product, incorporating lanolin from the wool fat as the key ingredient.
Only the very highest quality of ingredients, including the purest and most preservative free wool fat, are used in the production of these soaps - and they are not tested on animals.
All products are posted First Class once payment has cleared.
