I hadn't thought about French knitting since my childhood until a lady approached me at a craft fair and asked if I could make a batch. She was part of a voluntary group that provides support to the elderly, some of whom had said they'd like to do French knitting.

Full description
French knitting, or corkwork, used to be a higly popular activity in the days when cotton reels were made of wood. The activity is returning to popularity. My dollies are hand turned from various hardwoods and fitted with four steel pins. There are several websites on the subject where you may find instructions if you have never tried this activity in the past.
I have previously given discounts for multiple purchases of this item but this discriminates against those who only want one. I have therefore reduced the price for everyone, and however many you buy you only pay one p&p charge. This offer vailable while stocks last.
