These fabulous botanical drawings were rescued from a vintage 1965 copy of ‘The Concise British Flora in Colour’ by Keble Martin. The Reverend William Keble Martin drew these fabulous botanical flower illustrations in England over a period of 60 years in the early 20th century. He has added the Latin names to his illustrations so you can have fun spotting the flowers you may know and learning their Latin names! These pages have a great collection of thistles!
Each page measures 19cm x 25.5cm (7.5in x 10in). The edges have been left just as they were when removed from the book. The back of each page has printing on it but this does not shine through the page at all.
The pages are in good vintage condition and the colours of the floral illustrations are bright and clear. The pages may show some very slight signs of use but nothing which detracts from their loveliness!
These illustrations are perfect for creating gorgeous cards, scrapbook pages, collage, altered art, decoupage and any other crafting project you have!
