I like to borrow patterns from other materials to apply detail, and in this particular case I use paper doilies to apply brown slip reminscent of lace

Full description
Hand thrown on the wheel, this pot has a brown slip pattern hand painted onto the outside. The glaze is clear / off-white with a crackle and a slight sheen. The clay is stoneware clay and has a speckle.
It measures 11cm in diameter and is 7.5cm tall.
Perfect for keeping treasures in, or simply display on a feature wall. The vase in my shop has matching ribbing and slip detail.
