my brooches were born out of my original artworks using off cuts of fabrics. Recently I have been creating new illustrative artworks and it seemed a natural progression to make the two come together which resulted in the brooch in a box. My past works have always been quite traditional but recently (after reading numerous folk tales to my young son ) I have wanted to explore my more dreamy side and re-create fairytales in a visual manner.

Once upon a time .....there was a quirky cute sheep brooch which had been created by its maker useing off cuts of fabrics, raw edge applique, freehand machine embroidery and embellished with buttons and beads. ....
The brooch comes with its own brown kraft card display 'visual story' box created using a print of my original artwork. The perfect unique gift and totally kookie!

Brooch measures approximately 5.5 cm (width ) x 4 cm (Length) (measured from the widest points )
Box measures approximately 8.5cm x 8.5cm x 3cm
