This little lavender scented bird looks lovely hanging in a room, on a door or bedpost as a pretty decoration. Or tuck it into your wardrobe to delicately freshen and scent your clothes. It makes an ideal little Christmas stocking filler, or a gift to say thank you, get well, or happy birthday...or just treat yourself!
Made from a very dainty cotton fabric, a reproduction of a 1930's print, with pretty tiny flowers in purple, golden yellow and cornflower blue upon a cream background.
The bird measures 12cm long and 16cm high (including the blue satin ribbon hanger). I have filled it with a large cup of fresh lavender, plus some toy stuffing for shape.
Finished with a cream satin ribbon bow, and with black embroidery eyes sewn onto each side of the head.
