Welcome to Textile Treasures by Heidi Meier
This is a lovely embroidered artwork, a blue gingham seahorse chatting to two yellow angelfish within a glittery blue sea. Golden rocks, white and pink clam, and fanciful seaweed make an interesting picture which will capture yours or your child's imagination.
The artwork is made from a combination of hand embroidery, machine and free machine embroidery. Some of the fabrics (eg the seahorse) are made from recycled and vintage fabrics, some fabrics are new.
Framed in a quality solid oak frame and presented with an acid free cream preservation mount.
The overall picture size (ie including frame) is 505mm wide by 450mm high (c19.75 inches wide by 17 inches high).
A beautiful and unusual item for any special boy or girl. A stunning focal point in any nursery or bedroom, an original gift for Christenings or Naming ceremonies and a potential future heirloom.
PERSONALISE THIS PICTURE!! You can amend the words in the cut -out box with a more personal message eg To our darling Emily, Happy 1st Birthday, love from Nannie and Grandad.
Other seahorse and jellyfish designs available to complement the picture. They look fabulous in groups of three - a unique look for any room.
I get lots of inspiration from the natural world, and all children love to listen to stories about life under the sea.
You can make up your own story as to what the seahorse is saying to the angelfish, or is it the angelfish who are telling the seahorse a story?
This picture really captures children's imaginations and gets them creating their own stories.
