I have a shamefully large stash of vintage embroidered table cloths. It's a habit that picked up whilst a student. So over the last couple of years I have had a bit of a cull; selecting pieces of fabric that really are past their best, and chopping out the bits that are still rather lovely, to make books.

Full description
This A6 notebook/ journal has been created using traditional bookbinding methods. I have left the pale lilac spine exposed, as I think it a shame to hide this particularly attractive feature. Rather than use linen tape I have incorporated assorted ribbons.
The book is covered with fabric from a once loved embroidered table cloth, and can be secured with elastic firmly attached to the book with a vintage linen laundry button.
The book contains: 120 pages, 10 signatures, or 60 folios (folded pages), of assorted 100% recycled or scavenged papers with deckle (hand torn) top edges.
Measurements: height 15cm, width 10.8cm and depth 2.5 cm
